Where can I buy a huge makeup case from? I love makeup and I have lots of it. I used to put my makeup in bags but that doesn't work anymore because I have way to much of it. I saw a girl on tv that had a HUGE pullout makeup case and it is exactly what I need. I'm just wondering if anyone knows where I can get quality makeup cases that pull out and are big. Thanks! Vivian replied: "M.A.C.com... sort of expensive, but the best quality.."
dynastychica replied: "there is one you can murchase in a mac store or on their website...i believe it is $245.if that it out of your budget try sephora or ulta for something."

Flair replied: "http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jhtml?categoryId=C550&cm_mmc%3dus_search-_-GG-_-tl%20bc-_-makeup%20case
:)"
youngthani replied: "sometimes in the dept stores makeup counter sections they have the large makeup boxes out. i always see them around xmas with a set of shades in it."
srhbug replied: "Before investing in a huge case, go through all of your makeup and toss anything that has expired. Do a google search and find out how long you should keep each type of make up. For example, I think eye makeup such as mascara should only be kept for 3 months, blush is 6 months I believe. After you have weeded out the stuff you should no longer be using, then you can determine how big of a case you really need. You might be able to go to a craft store and find a scrapbooking supply or a craft supply box that would work perfectly and not cost a fortune!
Sarah"
*Gigi* replied: "I saw Angel perfume from Thierry Mugler, had an offer of a really nice huge make-up case free with 2 purchases in Bentalls, I think if you ask around other big department stores might have the offer it also.
PS. I'll have a look around also, if I see it again I'll let you know.
Also, I advise that you don't buy one, look around when perfumes or make-up brands have it on offer, that way you get a free products with it!"
Jen replied: "If you're on a budget, try buying several of those plastic storage containers with the little drawers (at Wal-Mart or similar stores). Just stack them up or line them across your counter and you're good to go! I've seen lots of girls on makeup forums who use those to organize large mu collections.
All of the really large makeup cases I've seen are ridiculously expensive (like the MAC one mentioned in another answer). You can usually find fairly large cases for $20-25 in drugstores and Wal-Mart, Target, etc. but I don't know if those are large enough for you -- but you could always buy 2 or 3 of them!
Another budget option is plastic toolboxes or tackleboxes -- you can usually get very large ones for way less than a makeup traincase, and they normally have lots of little drawers and compartments that work great for mu!"
allenejane replied: "Go to casesbysource.com. It's a professional case website that carries every kind of case imaginable. On the website on the left click makeup cases. They are about one third of the price than at MAC or Sephora."
xlilslickshortyx replied: "just go to sephora or just get it online" Where can I get a plastic makeup case from? I have been looking every where for a plastic makeup case that has like different compartments for your brushes, and eyeliners and stuff, and can't find one anywhere! I know sephora has some cases but they are way more pricey than what I want to spend, and they are not exactly what I am looking for. Does anyone know where I can get one from? I am in canada if that makes a difference.. Joey G replied: "Winners ummm. the bay"
kristen replied: "target walmart places like that also claires and icing
"
Dork:] replied: "Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Claires!"
star girl replied: "There is a brand called Caboodles that is sold in stores like Target, Walmart, Meijer, etc., that sounds like what you described. They are usually reasonably priced, and I have one that I've had for probably 15 years that my mom still uses to this day!"
Saskia K replied: "walmart has really cute and affordable make up bags and such"
Cutie replied: "well if canada has a target i would look there and if it has a claires i would look there too" where will i find a professional makeup case in the UK? I live in Manchester and i am looking for a large vanity case to store makeup as i am thinking about becoming a makeup artist and alot of the cases i am looking at are in the US and range from $200 to $300. Do you know of any places that are in the UK that sell professional makeup cases at more affordable prices? Anybody know where to by a good quality makeup case? I have a ton of MAC makeup and it seems as though they no longer carry the hard case on their website. I've seen a few at Sephora but not sure of the quality. Can someone recommend? can one of those coach makeup cases fit inside one of those small pouches? i dont want to get the big tote just to match the makeup case. but i think the small top handle bag might be too small. heres what it looks like
> Gemma W replied: "REALLY cute bags!!! I think that they will fit. My friend has some the similar size from coach and they fit. You may not have that much room for other items in your bag though.

bbyxdoll replied: "yes it will. when you look at the item, there are dimensions next to it."
....:).... replied: "Yes, but not much else will fit inside." What is allowed in a carryon makeup case? makeup, jewlery, hairspray, gel, over the counter medicines, lipstick, chap stick, toothbrush and paste, toiletry items. HiD replied: "everyting that u bring for carry-on has to be in a 3 oz container or smaller. and all that has to be put in a quart size zip-top bag. God Bless!!
this website will tell u EVERYTHING about what u can and cant bring on board. and what all the restrictions are. :)"
jetsinternational replied: "This site should have all of the information you need:"
carole replied: "Any liquids, gels, lipsticks, toothpastes etc have to go in a zippable plastic bag (one only) This has to be carried through security in your hand."
RITI replied: "You should pack any "liquid" product in checked luggage. You are only allowed two liquid items - each item is not to exceed 3 fluid ounces. Also, you will have to remove these items from your carryon and place them in a clear ziplock baggie when going through security. A couple of months ago security was confiscating lip gloss, mascara etc...they've relaxed the rules a bit but not by much. Chap stick/ lipstick is fine since these items are not considered "liquid"." What band of rolling makeup case do you use? Where did you get your rolling makeup case for professional use? KJ replied: "Mary Kay"
Chris H replied: "Permanent makeup is highly convenient for most people. You can get up in the morning and save yourself the time and trouble of applying makeup to some portions of your face. It's a great choice for athletes as perspiration doesn’t affect tattooed makeup. You'll also note that this type of makeup is not only for the face. Those with scars or discoloration on other areas of their body can also go for permanent makeup. Color displaced during surgery like pigment of the areola, can be tattooed once mastectomy is done."
mkupsm replied: "My rolling case that I bought originally is a Japonesque rolling case. I have to say that I don't recommend it. The knobs all broke off cutting my fingers and the handles are too narrow so the box is unstable when you roll it. Just about every artist I work with has taken to using smaller kits that don't roll and stacking them in large rolling suitcases. The wheels are sturdier and they don't break like the pro kits on the market. Some of my friends bought their kits at the IMATS and they had the same problem. The kits just don't have sturdy wheels and handles. Another option that some of my friends and fellow artists have gone with are the rolling tool boxes you can buy at Home Depot. They are indestructable and because they are metal you can engrave on them. I wish I did know of a good rolling case but for now the heavier duty rolling suitcases are a better deal." |
